2.  The vacancy is reserved only for UR community.

3.  A Specimen form in which the application is to be sent is enclosed. This

4 . The applicant should have attained the age of 18 years and should not have

NOTIFICATION

APPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FOR ENGAGEMENT TO THE POST OF GRAMIN DAK SEVAK BRANCH POSTMASTER, PILAR BRANCH POST OFFICE  A/W KALLAL  SUB POST OFFICE ON PROVISIONAL BASIS

In accordance with Hon'ble court orders in SLP 21825/06 dated 14.12.2001, the selection for the post of GDS BPM, Pilar BO is subject to the result of the Special Leave Petition filed by the Union of India & Others Vs. Suguna and others.

1. The post carries Time Related Continuity allowance of Minimum Slab of  2745-50-4245 per month + DA as admissible.

2.  The vacancy is reserved for UR catogory.

3. A Specimen form in which the application is to be sent is enclosed. This should be filled up by the candidate in his own handwriting.  Attested copies of certificates/documents should be enclosed wherever required. Applications which are not in the prescribed form and which are received without the required certificates/documents are liable to be rejected.

4. The eligibility of the candidate for the above post is furnished below:

1. The applicant should have attained the age of 18 years and should not have completed 65 years.

2. The minimum educational qualification for the post is XTH passed. No   weightage is given for higher qualification for applying for the post.

3. (i) Recommendation for canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
     (ii) The candidate should not be an agent of LIC of India or any other financial/insurance company.
    (iii) The candidate should not be a member in any political party or organization banned by the Central Government.
    (iv) Persons holding elective office as ward member of Town Panchayat etc. will not be considered.


5. The engagement is purely temporary and in the nature of a contract liable to be terminated by the competent authority at any time with one month's prior notice.  The work is part time for 3 to 5 hours a day and the engagement will not confer any right on the candidate to claim any regular full time post in the Department.

6. Among the candidates of equal qualification applied for the post of GDS BRANCH POSTMASTER, CALL LETTERS WILL BE SENT TO THE FIRST FIVE CANDIDATES WHO ARE MERITORIOUS AND THE MERITORIOUS CANDIDATE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR SELECTION.

7. Attested copies of the following documents should be sent along with the application.

          a) SSLC first page to prove the date of birth
          b) Matriculation or SSLC mark sheet
         

8. The envelope containing the application should be clearly super scribed on the top as "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GDS BRANCH POSTMASTER, PILAR BRANCH POST OFFICE a/w KALLAL SUB POST OFFICE ".
         
The envelope containing application received without super scription on the top of envelope will be rejected.

9. Applications completed in all respects should be sent to the undersigned only through the REGISTERED POST/AD IN A SEALED COVER clearly stating the address as SRI.M.SRIRAMAN, SUPERINTENDENT OF POST OFFICES, SIVAGANGA DIVISION,  SIVAGANGA  - 630 561.

APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IN PERSON.

10. The selected candidate is required to execute a personal security bond for the value of Rs. 25000/- obtained from LIC of India or Co-operative Society.
