In pursuance of orders contained in the Chief
Postmaster General, Tamilnadu Circle, Chennai letter No REP/4-1/LGO/2012 dated
04.12.2012 communicated in the
Postmaster General Southern Region, Madurai – 625 002 memo No. REP/1-4/2012/MA
dated 10.12.2012, the following appointment in the cadre of Time Scale Postal
Assistant in the scale of pay Rs. 5200 – 20200 in the Grade Pay Rs.2400/- is hereby ordered.

The above mentioned official was selected under
Departmental Quota in the LGO examination held on 16.09.2012 and he is to
complete the prescribed course of training at Postal Training Centre, Madurai
on 07.06.2013.
Under the
provision contained in OM No.F-7/1/80-Estt dated 26.09.1981 of Department of
Personnel and training, New Delhi incorporated in Govt of India order below FR
22, the official who is promoted on regular basis is entitled to exercise an
option for fixation of pay on promotion under FR 22(1) a(1) on the date of
promotion or on the date of accrual of next increment in the scale of pay in
lower post. The option in this regard should be exercised within one month from
the date of promotion. Option once exercised is final. The official now
promoted on regular basis is not entitled for any pay fixation in the pay band
and Grade pay applicable to PA (in Post Offices) cadre if they have already
availed the benefit of financial upgradation under TBOP/BCR Scheme/MACP
Scheme.
The appointment carries with it the liability to
serve in any part of Sivaganga Division and in special circumstances in any
part of India India
Other conditions of service will be governed by
relevant rules and orders in force from time to time.
